As with virtually all inkjet printers, can serve double duty for home and Home Office, but the focus is on the photo. The front panel features a Photo Copy and Advanced copy options as well as the standard Copy command, and there is also the option to print photos directly from the Web, with the option to Canon Image Gateway and Picasa Web albums. Most important of all, the speed and output quality is more impressive for photos than for business documents, which would make the most interesting printers for home use.

Speed and print quality is the high point for Pixma MG6220. The text looks pretty good--the dark and sharp--and arrived at page 8 fast per minute on the PC, and 8.14 ppm on the Mac. The photos are printed on regular paper look good, though a tad washed out, and they scored more than 3 ppm (snapshot size).
